There are two hospitals in Liberty County; Liberty Regional Medical Center offers a range of public services, and Winn Army Community Hospital serves Fort Stewart soldiers, dependents and veterans.

LRMC, a Critical Access Hospital, underwent an $8.6 million remodeling project in 2013 that created a new 14,000 SF emergency room, expanded the labor and delivery wing and resulted in more usable space for several of the hospital's departments.

Winn Army Community Hospital

Winn Army Community Hospital was started in 1983 to consolidate medical services on Fort Stewart after it was designated home for a division of troop a decade earlier. The hospital has continued to grow, including adding more than 150,000 SF since 2013, including a two-story, 44,000 SF emergency room. WACH was designated a level 4 trauma center, which can also serve civilian accident victims, in spring 2018. It's primary mission is serving soldiers, their dependents and retirees.

Hinesville Department of Veterans Affairs Clinic

The Ralph M. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center's Hinesville VA Outpatient Clinic serves more than 7,000 veterans each year in the 23,000 SF facility. The primary-care professionals and support staff provide provide primary and mental health care, as well as pharmacy, radiology, optometrist, women’s health and transition and case management services, among other programs.
