New road opens part of business park

M. L. Coffer beamed with pride as a new street was dedicated Saturday morning, Aug. 17, opening an area of Tradeport East Business Center to development. M. L. Coffer Court intersects with Sunbury Road in its 2100 block, near the eastern edge of the Liberty County Development Authority’s industrial park. Part of the street is already built, providing access to Western Power Sports’ new distribution center, which is expected to open later this year. The street will be extended as other businesses locate in the area, according to LCDA CEO Ron Tolley.
